TPEE LG Chem 1063D

TPEE LG Chem 1063D

TPEE LG Chem 1063D is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer with balanced properties and good processing adaptability. Its core advantages are the combination of high elasticity and high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, wear resistance and favorable processing flowability.

Main Applications

Automotive Industry: Commonly used for dust‑proof boots (such as CVJ boots, steering gear boots, shock‑absorber boots), corrugated pipes, air intake ducts, air‑bag covers and other components.

Electrical‑Electronic & Consumer Goods: Suitable for cable sheaths, mobile phone antennas, noise‑reducing gears, seals and power‑tool handles.

Sports Equipment: Applied for ski bindings, ski‑boot straps, golf‑ball liners and other products, taking full advantage of its flexibility and fatigue resistance.

Industrial Parts: Such as conveyor belts, flexible shaft couplings and high‑pressure gaskets.

Processing Parameters

Processing Step Key Parameters & Instructions
Drying Treatment Thorough drying is mandatory! Recommended drying at 80‑120℃ for 4‑8 hours to keep moisture content below 0.1%. It is the prerequisite for successful molding to prevent bubbles and silver streaks in finished parts.
Injection Molding ‑ Barrel temperature: General TPEE processing range: 180‑230℃. Due to high flowability of 1063D, start trial from the middle‑lower section of this range.
‑ Mold temperature: 20‑50℃ is recommended.
‑ Injection pressure: 60‑100 MPa.
‑ Injection speed: Medium‑low speed is preferred.
Extrusion ‑ Screw L/D ratio: ≥24:1 is recommended.
‑ Compression ratio: (2.5‑4):1 is recommended.
‑ Processing temperature: Set slightly above the melting point of the material.
Screw Selection Gradient‑type screw is recommended. For injection molding: compression ratio (3.0‑3.5):1, L/D ratio (15‑20):1.
